About Us

Creative Workshops, also known as "Raghida's Sewing," is a full service sewing shop dedicated to reviving the art and craft of sewing to the United States.

Creative Workshops was established by its founder, Raghida Abraham, in 2019. Raghida had been sewing since she was 16, but also studied Fashion Design formally in Beirut, Lebanon. The seeds for her business were first planted during the start of the COVID-19 Epidemic. Raghida invented an accessible mask with a transparent base that would allow those who are deaf and hard-of-hearing to understand. That invention was offered on Etsy, and gave Raghida the funds needed to open her Sewing Shop, "Raghida's Sewing," in Dearborn, Michigan.

Since then, Creative Workshops LTD has blossomed into a full-service commission sewing workshop. Our services include alterations, garment and upholstery production, relabeling goods, custom-made items, pattern-making, tech-pack creation, and embroidery. As of 2024, Creative Workshops has begun hosting sewing lessons taught by its Founder, Raghida.

Need a perfect fit? Our expert tailors can make alterations to most garments to achieve a desired fit. From a formal suit to an asymmetrical body suit, a wedding gown to a hazmat suit, we got it covered!

Custom-made, Pattern Making, Tech-Pack Creation, & Production Consultation

Need a 1-of-1? Our custom-made items are tailored to your exact specifications for whatever event, cosplay, or uniform you may need. We also work with designers of all kinds to bring both their prototypes and brands to life.

We do custom embroidery with no minimums on any garment of your choice. All digitizing is done in-house.
